Ever wanted an insight into life working in theatre for education? Want to know how to mix drama and digital media? Want the inside gossip on how to make theatre with young people? Want to know more about applied theatre company C&T?
Each month, everyone – yes everyone – in C&T will tweet the activities to the big wide world: theatre workers, administrators, directors, playwrights, web designers – even young people themselves.
In just a few hours you’ll get a passionate, crazy, incisive collage of life in applied theatre company C&T – all expresssed in no more than 140 characters (at a time).
There will be regular tweets before and after every More Than Twitter day, just to keep you interested, but that’s the day crazy things will happen!
Our first More Than Twitter day was a fantastic success – if we say so ourselves. The next one will be Thursday 4th June. Put it in your diary. Check our Twitter feed to read the back catalogue of tweets.
Four things to do:
1. Sign up for an account with Twitter (if you haven’t already): http://www.twitter.com
2. Done that? Search ‘Find People > Find on Twitter’ for c_and_t then click ‘follow.’
3. Read the biographies of C&T’s staff below (or on the More Than Twitter Facebook group) so you know who’s tweeting you, where they are, and what they’re up to. Then watch the videos in the video section – then you’ll know what what these Twitterers look like too!
4. Wait for the 4th June to arrive. When it does, watch Twitter, or download Twitterdeck or Spaz (yes that’s what its called) and watch the torrent of C&T flavoured tweets come your way.
If you’re a teacher why not get your student to sign up? Its like going on work experience with a theatre company without them having to leave your school!!
